StalkMarket Eco Friendly Tableware and Food Packaging Receives Biodegradable Products Institute Certification

NEW YORK, NY and PORTLAND, Ore. – November 11, 2008 2008 – StalkMarket, one of the leading producers of Earth-friendly disposable tableware and food packaging in the United States, today announced that its lines of polylactic acid- and sugarcane-based products have been certified as compostable in professionally managed facilities by the Biodegradable Products Institute. The certification covers the vast majority of StalkMarket’s offerings and includes plates, bowls, food packaging, to-go containers, clear cups, drinking straws, lids, soup containers, cold cups and hot cups.  read
